Women

The women of St Stephen’s love to get together to have fun, build up their friendships with one another and learn from the bible. There are many different activities and events that take place throughout the year which are always advertised in advance. We also have regular monthly meetings that women are warmly invited to attend.

Women’s Fellowship

Women’s fellowship meets monthly at St Stephen’s to engage in relationship building activities and to be encouraged by guest speakers who talk about their life experiences.

Mother’s Union

MU is a worldwide organisation within the Anglican church which aims to support Christian marriage and family life. Our branch meets on the second Tuesday of each month, except January, from 10am -12 noon and we then share a BYO lunch together. In the wider community our members visit new mums in hospital and give them small gifts, provide tea and coffee at the family courts, sew and knit for the neonatal intensive care units and support special MU workers in areas around Sydney. You don’t have to be a mother to attend our meetings, both men and women are welcome to come.
