St. Stephen's is a Christian community made up of people who support, encourage and care for each other, in their desire to know God better.
St Stephen's Anglican Church buildings are on the corner of Kenley Rd
and Pennant Hills Rd, Normanhurst, a suburb of Sydney,
Australia.
We have four congregations that meet every Sunday. Feel free to come to which ever best suits you.
You are assured of a warm welcome.
8.00am - Holy Communion - traditional, open to all. We use the Australian Prayer Book and the Sydney Diocesan Sunday Services. We share morning tea together afterwards.
10.00am - Morning Church - contemporary, for all ages. There is a children's talk, creche and age-related children's and youth programmes. We share in morning tea together after the meeting.
5.00pm - Church @ 5 - contemporary, for all ages. There is a Kids' Spot, creche and Kids' Church. We share a meal together at 6.00pm.
7.00pm - Evening Church - contemporary, open to all, and especially young adults and teenagers. We share in a light supper after the meeting.
St Stephen's Normanhurst is a loving, supportive Christian community, faithfully and prayerfully living and proclaiming the gospel in our local community and beyond, so that every person may know Christ and become mature in Christ.
St. Stephen's members seek to fulfil our vision as we meet together regularly, to build up and encourage one another. God's Word, the Bible, is central to our life together. In addition to our regular Sunday gatherings, we take the opportunity to meet also in small groups during the week for learning, prayer, mutual encouragement and support. We are eager that we all grow in our understanding of God's Word and how it applies to our daily lives.
Our church community is made up of people of different ages, backgrounds and interests. Some have been Christians for a long time; others are new in the faith or taking a fresh look at what they believe. We appreciate the unique contribution of each of our members.
St Stephen's offers a range of activities. Some of these are held in the Church buildings and others are held in people's homes or at other venues
Many people are unsure or curious about what Christians really believe, or have serious questions about issues that affect their lives. Christianity Explored is a course we offer - a series of helpful sessions, providing opportunity for questions and discussion in a relaxed atmosphere.
The St. Stephen's Pre-School Kindergarten for children from 3 years to school
age is on the Church premises.
